i am a spoken word artist and i WOULD LOVE LOVE LOVE to be on def poetry jam…..i have competed in many poetry competitions and have won some and lost some but i have preformed with the best of the best and have been featured at open mics but i would love to get on def poetry jam….i went on the HBO website but they had no information on how to get on there so maybe someone could inform me please! YOUR LOOKING AT A FUTURE STAR LOL

i’m really competitive and like doing competitions . lately i’ve been more interested in writing and poetry and would like to enter some of it in competitions and whatnot .
what are some teen poetry competitions to enter, maybe with $ prizes ?? thank you !
My Little Sister is competing in a state speech and music competition for 4th-6th grade age students and she wants to enter the Oral Interpretation of Poetry Competition. Any Suggestions on where to find good poetry for speech competitions? We are really trying to find a funny poem, but other poetry is fine too. The poems need to be between three and five minutes long, but can be cut to fit time limits. Any Help?
