Writing Poetry

I’ve written several (over 60) poems and a handful of songs. I enjoy doing this and would like to combine them all to create a small book or an album. But, don’t I have to be copyrighted? I just don’t know where to start and don’t have the knowledge to get where I want to go. HELP?

I want to Enter Online Poetry contests And/or publish my poetry.

I write poetry and am looking for a relatively cheap publisher.

Does anyone know where I can find a good poetry site to publish my poetry in?

see i started writting poetry after me and my boyfriend split. i think they are really good. well i want to publish them and share them with gurls around the world even though they are personal. i also have the small short story things that i want published in another book. then i would like to write a book explaining the back ground of my poems and my reason for publishing them. so is it stupid or should i really go for it.

Hallo Ladies Gents

The reason why I am asking this question is every publishing company I have sent me work too refused to publish because they claim it is to offensive .

I had no idea poetry had to be tame what is the point of publishing any sort of work if it is soothing to the soul.

So do any of you know of a book company that publishes work that is blunt and pure in it’s meaning ?

If so please let me know I am sick and tired of publishers denying my work because it is not soft and sweet to readers.

I’m looking for a venue to publish a few poems that I don’t have to pay out in order to submit. I’m not looking to get paid, although that would be a bonus, I’m just looking for some exposure.

If ur a kid under 12. Not magazines that get thousands of submissions. I want magazines that dont get too many submissions.
